Caution- not for weak stomachs

This blog is like a journal and I feel like I need to write about this experience, however, I am warning you now, the pictures may be a little graphic and it is pretty gross so if you get grossed out easy maybe don't read further...

While I was living in Hawaii I got a couple warts on my leg (which means I picked up some kind of virus), and they spread like a wild fire and before I knew it, I had a large patch on my right knee and one on my thigh as well as one just above my ankle. Two weeks ago I went to get them burned off and long story short, they were huge blisters at first and just didn't seem normal. After a few doctor visits I learned that I had chemical burns and also staff infection. Tuesday, I spent the morning in the burn unit at the U and its just kind of been a crazy thing! I'm so lucky that its not worse than it is because it could definitely be worse! Hopefully I can take care of it so that it won't scarr too bad but i'm thinking it'll for sure scarr somewhat. Anyway here are a few pictures of the mess...
Right after they were burned off
A few days later
A week later, at the worst

After the burn clinic and now

You poor thing. I had a wart that blistered pretty yucky like that in Idaho then spread. I have also been dealing with a patch of warts on my toe and they SUCK! I have been to the Dr. 4 times already. It hurts so bad and they still aren't all the way gone. I can feel your pain girl. So sorry!
